Questions families ask
Will the people in my circle know I can see them?
Yes. Everyone joins a circle by accepting an invite, and iPhone asks them to allow location access. FamPin is for sharing with people who agree to it, never for tracking someone in secret.
Does FamPin work on Android?
Not yet. FamPin is available for iPhone and iPad.
Will it drain my battery?
FamPin uses precise location while the app is open and switches to lighter, lower-power updates in the background.
Can I take a break from sharing?
Yes. Turn on Ghost Mode in Settings, under Privacy & Sharing. FamPin stops sending your location until you turn it off. People in your circle can still see the last location you shared.
